Garage up date

Well the walls are all up... The roof is on and will be shingled tomorrow. The builders dropped off all of the siding today so that should be going up soon. There calling for snow here Thursday hopefully we don't get dumped on.
Any ways its coming along pretty nice I think.:D

looking good....hope it gets the roof on before the snow/rain......woohooooo....it's happening, eh??....congrats!!!....Mike
 
These guys are really kicking butt on this garage. They want to get i done before the snow hits. shingles all on , sawfits on ridge vent. They should be starting on the siding tomorrow. the doors and window is sitting out there also.
It wont be long.

please excuse my downunder ignorance but what is that fibre product in between the timbers? Is it an insulation material ?
Its a little over 100 deg F at the moment here so I am dreaming of a white Christmas!

Yes Daveh you are correct it is insulation. Hey you could send some of that warm weather my way . We are supposed to be getting some snow today. I hope not tho. I want to get my shop done first then it can do as it likes.
 
I choose two eight foot doors insted of one sixteen foot. I don't lose so much heat when opened in the miserable winter. Too each his own.
 
Brendan I plan on doing all of the electric work myself. As soon as there done building Ill pull a permit and go to town on it.

Gumpy... I'm going to use it for parking the 46 in and tinkering around with it when need be. Merry Christmas to you and God Bless.

The carpenters did manage to get the shingles on today the entry door and the window before the crappie weather hit . No snow yet just high winds and rain.
