Whatever you buy, make sure you can park a car under the lift when it is in the totally up position. My old 4-post lift could not accommodate my old 40 coupe and the car was lowered a good bit (a non-stock vehicle). To have the clearance you need at least a 13’6” ceiling height. I got around that by not using roof trusses but a normal roof rafters with collar ties - my car could slip up inbetween the ties to clear everything. Just my experience…..
