Fuzzy stuff between Door Pillar and Body

I'll soon be re-assembling the body on the coupe and I want to replace the fuzzy stuff between the door pillars and body skin. This stuff also seems to be stuffed in behind the rear window wood and body skin.

So, what is this fuzzy stuff called ? I'm assuming I can pick it up from any of the Model-A parts distributors, but I just don't know what it's called.

It resembles a thin jute padding that i've seen under old carpets.

i am thinking it might be called asbestos but am not sure ... i am restoring a 30 tudor right now and it was behind the wood above the doors.... dont let the epa find out they will have to decontaminate the shop and bring in a crew with body suits and masks...

thanks for that link dan...it seems nobody actually knows what kind of material it is for sure...the first thing that came to mind was asbestos..i will be using friction tape behind the wood
