yes , circuit breaker . i had a fuse b 4 , got a short , went thru all my extra fuses but couldnt find the problem . fuses blew to quickly . put in a circuit breaker & was able to find the short . now all i use is circuit breakers & even carry a spare for others ........ steve
 
Fuses are very reliable but as the other person mentioned if you get a short, can go thru a few unless you make up a simple light bulb with alligator clips attached so can place across the circuit where the fuse goes. The bulb will light up when there is current being drawn from the battery. When the light bulb goes out, you have found the short. Also fuses can be purchased at hardware stores, auto parts stores etc. When a circuit breaker opens, it takes more current abiet smaller amount to open the next time but after many cycles it is no longer rated for what is on the breaker.
