So I was on the phone with lebaron and Bonney inquiring about top kits for my 34, I asked the young man if the "chicken wire" was part of the kit, he said no and said "do you know what the chicken wire is for" ? I said I think for extra support and the radio antenna? he said for goats! Ya Goats would get up on the roof and fall through!:) Merry Christmas Ken

Up here in Alaska we don’t have a big goat problem.
But if a moose gets on top of your car, WATCH OUT!

hey ken, in one of your old posts about your 34 you mention using a group 51 battery for clearance on drivers side exhaust. have you found the little battery to have enough power to do the job?

I always thought it was to either keep the chickens out or in some parts of the country to keep them in. Coupes are for chickens. I have a roadster.

One of my old bosses had goats in the helicopter shop compound to aid in controlling the weed growth. After they chewed off a few customer radio antennas from the helicopters, they became cabrito.

Back in '57 a bunch of us went out to a dairy farm north of Houston to visit with a mutual friend whose father owned it. We saw our friend out in the field rounding up the cows for milking so we crossed the fence to meet with him. When we returned one of the cows was feasting on the top of a brand new Thunderbird. The car was only a few days old and the owner was really upset. I never found out who paid for the damage.

The word police are at it again. Whether it keeps in foul or rabbits out it's always going to be chicken wire to me.

Last time I asked for Chicken wire @ Lowes, I was informed it is now known as "Poultry" wire.

I used to sell it back in the 1960's--It is called --poultry netting--I asked a veteran at a Menards Store and he looked at me like I was nuts!! He dated me easily though--
