Looking for the phone number/contact info. for the company that sells the full flow oil/pump system. It was sold by Kirby/Motor City Flathead but I think he sold it off. Does anyone know who is selling it now? Thanks.

Good article in Street Rodder mag this month on flathead oiling systems and they have Goller #

I'll have to cast a second vote on the Street Rodder article... After reading through the three pages of material I liked the comment by Joe Abbin, Roadrunner Engineering.. In a nutshell he said that the stock type of Ford filter, "filters all of the engine oil in five minutes at highway speed". He summed up his comments by stating that full-flow conversions are generally not worth the effort..
I guess that full-flow filter conversions to a flathead is about like many of the other reputed improvements that people have touted for the past 50+ years, i.e. porting, headers, etc.
The oiling/lubrication problems that plagued engines of the '30's-40's & '50's was not the absence of an oil filter, it was the use of non-detergent oil, limited mileage and people not changing the oil on a regular basis... A thousand miles or every three/four months.

Go to search and try this: oil filter for flathead.
there is quite a good discussion last April on the ideas.

Most by pass filters I have seen were typicall way over due for change. Once they get dirty the oil quits getting filtered at all.

OK change the filter religiously and you are fine.. Let it go a while and you may as well take it off and throw it away.

Plus the full flow just really cleans the motor up a bunch.
