OK, Maybe the truck was having an off day RE the fuel.
1. disconnected line @ carb and ran it into a jar- pumped fine- regulator still sitting on '1.5'.
2. In testing the generator & voltage regulator, we must've started the truck 7 or 8 times after the pump check, and it started quickly each time. Also -for they testing- ran the RPMs up fairly high (checking cut-out) twice, it never even hiccuped.
