Fuel price in NZ,

In Cold, Snowy, and windy Michigan-USA, fuel (regular no lead-10% booze) is $3.489 (USD) a gallon. Up more than a $1.00 from this time last year! I know, we should be glad we are not paying what you folks are, but still seems to be a big rip off by oil companies. Prices here can go up or down as much as $.10 a day. No matter what the price, I will still put 9.5 gallons of gas in the A and drive down the road with a very large smile on my face.

Got gas yesterday--here in the northern part of California it's $4.05 a gallon (for regular)

Tony,
That display titled "in your dreams";)!
Hmm, have the same ten gallons in the stored A, since bought for $2.49....seems like not long ago! Wondering how long it will/can hold up till goes sour! Currently $3.889 'cheap' stuff...dam those speculators:eek:!!!

Try 4.07 for mid grade/89. per the owners manual I have to put in 92 because of the turbo-ouch. I am scared to what they will dream up for a price in the summer.

Mike

Jeepers Derek.... fuel prices wont worry a wealthy man man like you will they? :D :D
(I read you're a wealthy man on the interweb thingy so it must be true... :p )

Our erstwhile gubmint in its infinite wisdom takes about 55 cents in excise tax and another 5c in a ?? tax per litre. B******s!
According to my rough calculations NZ$2.19 per litre is about US$5.70 per US gallon.
