Fuel or electric?

Just got back from the garage. Car started instantly! No hesitation at all. I’ll take it for a drive tomorrow for a full test.
Hey Guys,
A BIG thanks to all who helped me with this problem lending there time, experience and knowledge. Instead of paying my mechanic, I am learning so much here on the barn, doing it myself. I save money and get to enjoy that wonderful sense of satisfaction that only comes from doing it yourself.
Thanks again.

Tinker, I’m not sure what the reason for the no gas at the beginning. I think it may have been some sort of blockage in the line from the gas tank. When we first started to diagnose the problem, the first thing I tried was getting gas through the fuel pump. I blew the gas line both ways and later sucked gas into my mouth. Yesterday I used a coke bottle with gas that I plunged the flex hose into and spun the engine. The pump sucked the gas up and spit it out the carb side of the pump. I hooked everything back and and after dumping primer down the carbs two times, it started! Today I plan to take it for another long ride to see if the same problem returns.
