Fuel lines

I'm getting ready to install new fuel lines on my '37 Pick up. I have a new fuel tank and it has been a few years since I removed the old lines. I would appreciate a few pictures which show the routing and location of the lines from the tank to the motor. I am doing this with the cab and bed off the frame.

Sorry, I don't have any pictures, but on my 39 pu, the line runs along the left side of frame and is held in place with several clips. I wish I could help a fellow east Tn. Ford owner a little more, but I'm sure someone will have information or pictures. Go Big Orange!

Just a thought. Having just replaced a fuel line in my 46 passenger car & having difficulty matching old line even though it was in my possession (found bending copper covered steel line difficult), strikes me that if you can procure 10 or 12 feet of bare 12 gauge copper wire (electrical wire--solid from hardware store) & string it through the area where your line should go, you could create at least a crude pattern. Even if you had to do it in sections (by cutting wire in a couple of places), that might help--just a long shot.

I don't have pictures, but my fuel line went from the gas tank to the top of rear cross member, had a clamp that was bolted through a hole at the cross member. it then went into the frame channel between the inside and outside rail. it went in that location up to the front x member where it turns up to a clamp on the cab firewall. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the idea! I'm into setting up brake lines for my project car. I already did a set of brake lines for my brother's '32 and getting the line to run from left to right at the front crossmember was a bear. Having a pattern should make things easier this time.
