Fuel Line Leak

I went to turn the engine over for the first time today and after putting a little gas in the tank, my fuel line started leaking on the inside of the firewall where it attaches to the sediment bowl. I took off and reseated the copper flare fitting, but it still leaks. Does anybody have any ideas what to do next?

I have attached a picture of the inside fuel line that is giving me problems.

That looks like a home made copper line. The flare might not fit properly on your sediment bowl. Inspect the flare surface on the sediment bowl and the fuel line, they must be smooth without any dents or scratches. Also if the flare on the line does not have the correct angle, are if it does not fit tight all the way around it will leak. I would order a new fuel line, and if the flare on the sediment bowl does not look good, I would order a new sediment bowl also.

Will do. Thanks.
