Fuel line fitting dilemma - 36 coupe

I am just finishing up my project and getting ready to for a first start up, etc. Currently working on finalizing the fuel line connections. I have 1/4 hard line from the tank to the firewall, secured by the metal clamp on the firewall. I have the Ford stock rubber hose with flare ends to connect the fuel filter/pump to the hard line. But my hard line has no fitting on the end. I've searched the forums here and got some info, but remain unsure of what is available these days, and what I should even be searching for.
Here's the info I have:
- The stock Ford flare is a 1/2-20 straight thread. Same/similiar to a 37 degree flare JIC fitting.
- I found old posts referring to Edelman 108400 and Weatherhead 59X4. Searching for these hasn't answered my real questions assuming I can even find them)
- The 1/2-20 straight thread correlates to a 5/16 JIC fitting.

Questions I have:
Is the Ford fitting a 37 degree JIC flare? Same question, are the male and female ends of my Ford flexible hose connecting to the filter/pump a 37 degree flare, or some weird Ford only flare?

Does a compression or ferrule type fitting exist for my 1/4" hard line that has a male flare with 1/2-20 straight threads to mate with the flexible rubber Ford hose? If JIC is the same as Ford, then it would be a 1/4 compression ferrule X 5/16 JIC male.

If there is a special Ford fitting, does anyone have a part number and/or source for such a fitting?
Thanks for any help you can provide!

Need a "Ford nut" and a 1/4" ferrule. Screenshot is from the Edelmann fitting catalog.
