fuel guage

Hi Barner's I'm getting ready to hook up my hydrostatic fuel guage on my 34 pickup, I don't remember where the small copper wire that comes from the gas tank enters the cab. Am trying to make it look as original as I can. Any help will be appreciated.

The 35 had it come in to the firewall via the center hole if i remember correctly.

In the 34 it also follows the gas line through the center hole.

A photo is worth a thousand words and here you can see where the hydrostatic fuel gauge copper wire parts from the fuel line and passes through the centre hole in the firewall.

the hydrostatic line splits fron the fuel line as the pair rise from the frame side rail and appproach the bottom of the firewall. the hydrostatic line enters the passinger compartment with the vacuum line and wiring it is clamped to the inside firewall by the wiring clamp.
