Fuel gauge

A lot depends on how it is graduated. By 1926, Ford was using a cowl type tank that was more of a predictable measurement according to the Ford charts for the different gas tanks. There were also aftermarket measuring sticks that were sold by all sorts of parts and services supply sources and they were used as advertisements for those individual companies. A new stick from Lang's runs about a dollar but old period sticks are around $20 or more depending on who made or sponsored it. Really old original dealer ones could be fairly valuable to collectors of such things.
