Fuel Bulb Thread Size?

Does anyone know what the fuel bulb threads are for the '26-7 style? My tank needs the threads chased for easier fitting. I sealed the tank and a tiny bit of sealer got in the fitting.

I believe it's 1/2" NPT but my memory may have static check-bit errors.

Hmm, looks more like a 3/4", but I have to look.

1/2" pipe OD is 3/4". Actually, it's around .8"

Well, I was off. The nominal diameter for 1/2" pipe is .840".
