I’ve decided to sell my ‘36 Ford 5 window. I found the car in a barn about 10 miles from my home. It had been there for many years. It was previously restored and painted 20+ years ago. When I found it was pretty much rust free except for the floor which I replaced with original style as opposed to a flat “hot rod style” floor panels. It has a C.E. 4” drop axle with reverse eye frt. spring. It has tube shocks frt. And rear. I used T.C.I. parallel leaf springs on the 1940 banjo rear w/3:54 gears. It has ’40 hyd. brakes w/oem rear drums, new cyls. Shoes and springs all around. It has rebuilt ‘39 pedals with a under floor Wilwood dual M.C. I installed a ’37 steering box w/original drop and banjo wheel. It has a new drag link and tie rods. I made the exhaust w/ mandrel bends and Smitty mufflers. It has a new 16 gal fuel tank w/proper new sender (not connected to gauge). It has halogen headlights and LED tail lights, old style turn signal switch. I kept the wide 5’s with new Cocker Classic Radials (5.50 frt and 6:50 rears). I had the original radiator re-cored with a HD core (car runs 180 or less). It’s powered by a rebuilt ‘49 8RT w/Offy heads, Intake (2/94s), Mallory electronic dist. and an Isky Max 1 cam. Behind the engine is an ‘85 Camaro T-5 (2.97 first gear) with an S-10 tailshaft and hsg. It has a Hurst shifter w/early style lever. As stated the paint is old and not very good but the car is solid and drives great. I had no intentions to paint it. Most HAMB guys like it the way it is. The interior is very usable. It still needs a few things to make it the way I would want it. I’m sure I’ve missed a lot but I would be glad to answer your questions. Price is firm. Serious buyers only please. Not interested in trade. Email if interested gkgeiger@sbcglobal.net
