Front spindle interchange....

Hey guys! I have read before that the '54-'56 Ford passenger cars share the same spindle as the '55-'57 Tbird. It appears that they share the same part#. Is this true? Is there a right & left side? Is the steering arm the same, also? Is there a right & left side for them, too? Thanks in advance! F F

Tie rods might be shorter. I found out the rack PS hoses are shorter.
I would imaging the pitman arm being at a different ago as well.

Spindles are the same if the part numbers are the same. Yes, there is a right and a left. I believe that the ball joints are the same too.

Don't know about the steering arm

The steering arms are different. An old trick was to put T-Bird steering arms on passenger cars for quicker steering. Bird arms are shorter than passenger arms. John
