front pulley seal

Looked in the archives on seals and sleeves. Where can the sleeves be
found.

Tried to find Don Ferguson but no luck.
 
Any machine shop should be able to find a sleeve. My 8 BA had a small groove, I used emery cloth to polish it, then a one piece seal from Speedway. The Speedway part fit loose in the pan and the front cover, so I used clear silicone to take up the space. It never leaked a drop in the several years it was used before its sale.
 
shaft repair sleeves can be found at most bearing distributors. Around here we have places like Kaman Bearing. The new one piece seals work great,but I have never replaced one, I would think a rope seal could be changed out much faster.
