Front engine mount replacement

I don't think so. You would have to undo the engine mounts, then the back of the block will hit the firewall and to raise the front high enough to clear the X member, you run a grave risk of the motor falling off the rear mounts.

It’s been a while but I think the way you do it is to support the oil pan with a block of wood on a jack, remove one of the pairs of rear motor mount bolts, loosen the other pair, remove the yoke nut under the front cross member, remove the bolts holding the yoke to the timing cover, and then carefully jack the engine up just enough to wiggle the front motor mount out.

He has floaters. He just has to loosen the big through bolts, and if the rear transmission mount is in place the part that pinches the rubbers needs to be removed. The hardest part of the whole operation will be removing the floorboard to get to that rear mount.
