Friction shocks - dog link

Anyone running the Offy friction shocks up front on their "A"?
I'll be using the later dog bone and wondered which one to order, both holes same side or opposite.

I am using a friction shock on a speedster that I have. I looked up the Offy shock and it looks very similar to the Dave Wilton ones that I bought and have on mine. On those shocks they use the opposite side shock link. If I recall, the round ball was actually attached to a bolt, and you put it on the shock arm. When the shock goes on, the ball on the shock arm and the one on the spring perch are almost parallel.
