FREE IF YOU COME GET IT: Complete rear axle assembly from driveshaft to tires pulled from a working, running 1929.
It's in Oakhurst, California near the south gate of Yosemite, about 45 minutes north of Fresno or 75 minutes from Merced.
I do not know the wheels' diameter, rear end ratio, etc. and I'm in Texas so I can't go see. It was pulled from a working, running 1929 some years ago which was being fully restored. Rather than rebuild it to perfection the owner installed a perfect one he had on hand.
Property is being sold so it must go. Believe it or not, the realtor says having a complete Model A rear axle doesn't enhance the value of the property, it actually lowers it! If no one takes it the realtor will call the scrapyard.
