Frame swap question

Other than the 1/2 inch difference in wheelbase, what will a person run into trying to swap a 57 sedan delivery body onto a 56 station wagon frame? thanks

Nightmare is putting it mildly. Everything as mentioned is different. You'd probably have better luck with a '57-'58 Ford anything chassis.

As others have said it will be a nightmare and why would you?
The 57 is significantly narrower at the front and has a completely different wishbone setup.
The bottom two pictures illustrate the differences. The top is the 55-6 and the bottom is the 57.

Ok, that's what I needed to know. The reason I asked is that one of my best freinds came into a pretty decent 57 Courrier but it's been setting for 39 years and needs all the mechanicals gone through. Then right after that a 56 wagon that was a restoration that bogged down on someone years ago. All the drivetrain and chassis was restored and he got to thinking if the 57 body fit the 56 frame it might be an option to swap bodys. I already told him I didn't think it would work. I knew they used different front suspension parts but you never know until you ask if the frames might still be the same configuration.
Thanks for the help.
