Thanks Troy?

Most of the mid fifties frames were different for wagons vs cars plus hard tops are diff from cars and wagons

Yes, the wagons, hardtops, convertibles and sedans had different frames, but I'm pretty sure the front crossmembers should be the same, if you can cut it out. I've also seen reproduction crossmembers on EBAY.

All 55/56 Fords(except T-Birds) have the same front crossmember. There are several of the old Ford parts vendors that sell repops. It is possible to find good used ones, but they are pretty hard to find.

This company makes replacement crossmembers , supposed to be just like original

Goodell Fabrications 918-636-7071

Nice, I just ran across a 56 tudor frame with body haven't seen it yet. The guy says power steering car
What would be reasonable to offer? Has no engine Trans dash or doors?
Goodell has a nice piece but that's a ton of money.
What's your 2 cents fellas,
Thanks for the help?

On 55 & 56 models, the wagon frame was different from the car frame only at the rear portion of the frame. The front crossmembers are identical.
Concours parts used to sell new front crossmembers for about $250 but that was some years ago. Don't know if they still offer them
