is there a way to get the frame id numbers with out removing the body. was told the frame was stamped on the top part.

yes you can on some body`s and depending on where they stamped the numbers ford was not uniform on where they stamped the frames, and how nice your frame is, I can read my A400 numbers by just taking out the floor board but the roadster I`m working on now the numbers are right next to the front cowl bolt, it is worth looking for it before you take your body off.
