frame difference 28/29 to 30/31?

Looks like I might need a better frame for my project, the one I've got is bent all along the right side and the front crossmember is welded in.

Are there any differences between the years or can I use whatever I can get?

This is supposedly a 31vicky, but all I've got to prove that was one wooden side rail. It's going to be a speedster when I'm done.

For a speedster I'd say use what you can find, as the year shouldn't matter.
