Well Brent It would not take much for me to decide to have it rebuilt. I have rebuilt every thing else but the rear end. So far no problems there. I just ordered a new radiator from berg's. I have always thought I would get her rebuilt sometime in the near future. That time might be now.
So I guess My next Question is Who and were do I take it. You seem to be pretty busy these days.

Everyone is beyond busy right now. If this engine does not have any historical significance with your vehicle, maybe bandaid it up with one of Gene's caps and then send another engine off to have it rebuilt while you continue to drive that one. Then sell your bandaid-ed engine to someone else who just needs something to tie them over.

Well this is what I found. The rear main cap bearing is bad. The journals look good no damage.
