Thanks guys, I figure if I can make this coupe "crowded" enough the wife might let me get a BIG model A to go with it ! Gotta have a plan you know...

When I was building my '29 Roadster, I found an old school bus in a junk yard and a seat bottom was a perfect fit for the bottom seat. Luckily, I had the backrest springs. If I remember correctly, it was only $2.00.
MIKE :)

Mike, you did a lot better on money spent than I did !

If this hadn't been a rumble seat car I would have left it alone. Everything was in place, working and in good shape for the rumble seat so I wanted to do it. Of course that was before I knew how hard it was to find a decent one and how much it would cost to buy springs and have them covered etc.

I'm happy with it and probably won't use it much but it's "there".

Ford must have changed the shape & curvature of the backrest for "30 & '31. My Early '29 Coupe is very different from yours. Bill W.

It might be the picture, it really looks different with the seat out though. Optical illusion ? You haven't been in that cough syrup again have you? ;)
