I purchased some overseas wheel bearing... Guess what? they are junk!!! This is just my way of venting...... Always stick with USA!!! I love the phrase on the first page of Roy Nacewicz's catalog........
"SOURCE OF ORIGIN
All products offered for sale in our catalogue are proudly manufactured in the United States of America. This has been our policy since day one and will not change. Although we have had numerous offers to outsource some of our production to establishments in the Far East, unlike others we steadfastly refuse. We fully recognize that our beloved Fords were sold through out
the world, but with rare exception, utilized the resources for the various components from the USA. We believe that restorers of these vehicles using reproduction parts are entitled to the same or better quality than original. We accomplish this by either manufacturing our own products, or having direct control over their production. Our manufacturing facilities are located in
Carleton, Detroit, Dearborn and Belleville, Mi. as well as LaGrange In.,Philadelphia, Pa. and Columbus, Oh. All facilities are all permanent structures and neither the buildings or the components they produce will ever move to foreign soil!""

Im with you, just had one of the rubber flex fuel hoses to come apart where the hose is crimped in the brass end. It didnt break or get cut it just slid out. Just ordered 4 new ones from Robert Shewman, that should end that problem.

Just curious -How did you determine the new bearings were junk? Also, were they front or rear wheel bearings?

Roy Nacewicz is AAA+ in my book. I met Roy in person at Hershey, a real gentleman and pleasant person. Google his name to see what he sells.

As a restorer it doesn't take long to learn who makes or sells quality.

Ken/ Alabama,Just replaced the fuel hose on my 51 with a Robert Shewman piece, guality is the word. Don't know how long the one I replaced had been on but it was not crimped properly, but didn't leak. I try to buy American made when ever possible. Phil

Try sourcing your bearings from a bearing supplier, Motion Industries, et al. They sell quality stuff, i.e., SKF, Timken, etc., be sure to let them know you want the quality,
not some el cheapo crap.

Yes Roy is the best and very helpfull if you call him. He will also be at Hershey, if you are there stop to see him.
