Fords in Winter

Yes great pics old Henry, that's my favorite ford right there...besides my 50 Tudor..lol..
Is that a 46-47?

This is as close as to winter driving my ford is getting, sitting in my brothers garage in western N.Y. waiting till spring for me to come and get it and bring it back to California...

Love your pooch. What kind is he? Chihuahua? Korgi? Mix?

This is our first picture of our first car show in August 2007, before the upholstery was done and the bumper guards installed, taken with my 1.3 MP phone camera (thus the distortion). It's a late '47 made after August '47. Pepe (the Chihuahua) had been my faithful companion on most of my road trips and night cruises ever since.

He's pretty calm when I get him loaded up on doggy Valium.

Without it he gets pretty stressed, shivering and panting.

A really ancient scan of a 126 slide from 1971. Plenty of snow that winter as you can see and by February of 71 the road graders with Vee plows could barely keep the roads open. My 39 Deluxe was dwarfed by the snow ridges along the road side.

This is not my Phaeton, I don't think, but a vintage, original photograph, that I had found.

Drove mine today. No snow in the Chicago/NW Indiana region. Just cold. And cold is no big deal. Just hate the snow.

this has been my seasonal pic for several years now, It's not my car or my picture. I love it's simplicity, and you can imagine your own story behind the picture.

Here are two photos of my Fords 'in winter'. the year was 1992, just before I moved to Florida, both photos were taken in my driveway. First is my '46 Super Deluxe Tudor, second is my '53 Crestline Sunliner. You can see that I hadn't installed the stainless trim on the rear quarter of the '53 at that time.

I sold the '46 in NY. My friend drove the '53, following me in the '39 CS, to Florida. We left Long Island on April 1st... The trip was a real adventure ;) but, that's another story. Happy New Year.:)
