Fordor door year id

Could someone please tell me the differnece between a 28-29 and 30-31 Fordor (Briggs/Ford) door? I looked here: http://www.mafca.com/photos/front_doors.jpg
but I really can't tell the differnece, maybe the width or the upper sill?

I have one that I bought with my coupe body a few months ago, and I'd like to sell or tade it for parts..but I dont want to missrepresent what it is.

measures 27 3/4 at the bead line.

Thanks much,

Chris

Try this, ( the handles are the key ) in the " search ", at the top of the main page.

" Closed car door handles "

Dudley

That's a great thread Dudley:
http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24995&highlight=Closed+car+door+handles

But in looking at the MAFCA site, it looks like both the 28-29 and the 30-31 fordor have a curved belt rail. Unfortunately I don't have the door handle.

Don might be correct that they're the same. I get used to differentiating between 28-29 and 30-31 since everything on the coupes seems to be different.

Thank you Gar for the measurment

Can't add a whole lot to this discussion, other than the fact that the earlier doors had a lot more wood on the inside I think - see pic's of early ones.
