I may have what you need. What years will work? I have a 55 Merc ****** and a 53 Ford ******. Both air cooled. Not sure of the condition of the air scoops. I'll have to check.

Are you talking about a backwards opening scoop mounted below the starter position on a 54 trans?.....If so, I think ive got one....Ive got an entire 239 motor and trans....
