Ford transmission identify

I have a three speed transmission. I know it is early ford v8 but I don't know the exact year. The serial number is 18-5141890. It has the top shifter has the two screws one on either side. It was in my 35 ford when I bought it 50 years ago.

Going by the VIN, it is a '39
