Ford tractor 801

They are all similar on the little Ford tractors but the 800 series should be a larger unit. I see a lot of parts for these on flea-pay and other sources since they were a very popular tractor. I have an older 850 with a 5-speed and it gives very little trouble. The shut off valve on the fuel tank likes to leak every now and then but I use aircraft o-rings made of flourocarbon elastomer to seal it instead of the usual nitrile type. Any engine repair shop should be able to put a kit in the carb if you order one in. They are very simple carbs. Parts and Service manuals are readily available for all the 800 series.

Yes very simple and usually taking it apart and blowing it out with high air pressure is all it needs. Unless the throttle shaft is really loose and the float damaged there is not much else to go wrong. Just tuned my 800 up and cleaned the carb out and it runs great.
