Ford Specs for engine deck

There was no tolerance on "flatness" provided. There was only a tolerance on total height. How much can it possibly vary being milled in a single pass?

If the question involves service requirements, not manufacturing tolerance, I think earliest Ford spec I know of is for flathead V8. Spec is for how far out of flat is acceptable to be used. Main difference is that the V8's had a lot more studs holding down the iron. I can come up with that spec easily if it is of any use here.

Thanks Marco, since this new engine is being engineered I thought it would be interesting to see if there was an actual Ford Spec on the flatness of the deck.
