Ford Script on Generator Brushes

I've been restoring a few generators lately and found that a Ford script was on all three brushes in one of them. The generator is an L1 with the oil hole on the side of the bearing cup. Kind of a cool find. I'll post pictures later if anyone is interested.

I have FORD script on my demonstration generator. I've seen a few brushes with the script, but it certainly is not very common. I only use generators with my EVR installed, so of course the third brush is not used in this picture. You can see "FORD USA" if you look closely at the side of the brushes.

The FORD script on the Bendix spring bolts for the starter is another nice thing, but quite rare.

I have some of those Ford script replacement brushes, that RonC spoke of.
These were, probably made in the 50s, as they have a 33-34 prefix and state that they are for 1928-1939.

These aren't that rare on the west coast. I have several boxes of them and even the script bendix bolts that Tom mentioned.

Rarity is all relative anyways.

Mine are the same as the brush pictures posted. Thanks for the information and pictures.
