Looking for a pair or one Ford Script 6-volt halogen headlights for my 40. I have a high beam out. Bob Drake no longer has Ford Script ones.
Thanks Tom.

Punch in (6 volt Halogen Headlight) on ebay... Just put a pair in the 40,and they are bright. Think i paid about 40 with shipping. Ken

Maybe you could give a little more information. I did as you suggested and got a list a mile long. Did you buy from an e-bay store or a private individual?

What are the amps drawn by these bulbs?

Thanks

Sturgis, They are a Wagner brand. Not Ford script. E-Bay Store Mike's Che-- Parts 818 346 0083.They are 7" bulbs, sealed beam,3 prong. Will fit VW, Motorcycle and tractor. Can't find any info on the amp draw.. I have a 6 volt system, and i don't seem to notice any effect on the gauge. Hope this helps. Ken

I have a pair of these that came from Drake years back. They look nice and have the Ford script but believe me,you cannot see jack s%$t at night with these things. The beam of light is too diffused and scattered. I put my old GE sealed beams back in and then there was light.

I put a pair of 6v halogens in my 49 & they overloaded my switch on high beam so I took them out.

I've sense converted to 12v, but I also put in headlight relays to take the load off the light switch.
