is anyone making a kit to install the F150 overdrive transmission in a Model A I would like to install one in the 68B that I`m putting together.

If you want a T-5 and don't mind an open driveshaft....

I have installed one of his systems in my touring car and am well satisfied with it.

I would go for the Chevy T-5 because of the gear ratios. The F-150 has a nice split between 1st and 2nd, and 3rd and 4th but the 2-3 shift is huge.

Thanks everyone. I want to go with the ford set up because I want to keep the closed drive shaft.

x2 with Carl.

Daves kit is a first-class fit and goes in easy. For those of you that want to stay with the original look with no cutting, this is the kit.

Because the gear shift is moved about 1-1/2 inches towards the rear, the floor board hole must be moved. If you have carpets them you need a new carpet.

The only thing I wish this kit had is a 5th gear.

CarlG, yes that split is about the same as Model A. Steve Serr of Miller hi-speed makes a closed drive line adapter for the T-5.
