Ford or Ford licensed?

A couple years ago I reworked the front end on my 31 CC P/U. When I was unbolting the wishbone I noticed it had the rubber ball "fix" in place, I eliminated that and installed the proper parts after building up the ball and filing it down. When I was picking up and wiping off the parts that I removed I noticed that the rubber ball had the Ford logo on it. I was just wondering if this was a Ford part or just a Ford licensed part? Starting on 32 Ford used the rubber ball mount until they went to independent suspension in 49. The Ford service part for the A was the rubber ball.
