Found two nos exhaust manifolds still in the ford boxes, but dont know what they fit. They look like ram horns for a y block, but not sure. Can someone decode these numbers? Cote-9430-a and eam-9430-d. Any help apprciated. Thanks

Hello Sprystang, It sounds like you may have Rams Horn manifolds for a Ford Y-Block (COTE-9430-A / 1960 Ford truck 292) and a Lincoln Y-Block truck engine (EAM designates 317 Lincoln V8). If the bolt centers for the mounting holes are all in a straight line with each other, it's for a 292. If the bolt centers are at an angle on the outside ports, it's for a Lincoln 317 truck engine. If the mounting holes are straight across, they're for a Y Block. If the end holes are angled top corner to bottom corner on the ends, they're for a Lincoln truck motor. Looks like you may have one of each engine. The C0TE looks like Y Block, the EAM like Lincoln. The same base number 9430 means they're the same side manifolds.

Thanks guys, i really appreciate it. Dont look like they will work for my application though. Any idea what they are worth ? Thanks
