I dont like the spray can paint. It only last for so long and it doesnt look as good. Spray can paint jobs really last about 5 years at the most without looking like it needs to be redone. I drive my cars alot, and the automotive paint holds up a whole lot better, and makes a nicer job out of it.
I need the ford engine green paint code if anyone has it, ive got a couple of motors im needing to paint and ive seem to of lost my sheet of paper with the paint codes on it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Glenn mentioned cleaning his engine with WD-40, and I've been doing the same thing for many years. It also helps to keep unpainted parts from rusting. Here's my 50 Champion engine that I bought last year. The first thing I did to make it look better is sprayed it with WD-40 and wiped it off. It also cleaned years of dirt off the hoses.
