Ford Blue Paint for Medallions

Hi,

Anyone know where I can buy the correct color non-spray Ford Blue paint
for brush on the bumper medallions? Snyder's no longer sells this.

Prefer to brush it on myself as opposed to masking, spraying or stickers.

See the thread "Painting Bumper Clamps" was on page 4 when I wrote this. You can see the paint I used to do my bumper clamps and how they came out. I can't vouch for the perfect standards for the paint color, but this is pretty perfect comparison to the decals that are sold for this.

I recently painted my clamps with the little bottle - about 3 weeks ago. The bottle had a small brush in the cap and it worked very well. After painting the clamps, I put them in the oven at about 140 degrees to hopefully even out any brush marks that were still there. They turned out quite well.

TESTORS, the model paint company has a blue, that really looks good to me. You should be able to find it in any hobby shop.

Find a supplier for One Shot Sign paint in your area, or on the net. Get Dark Blue 158L color. Use mineral spirits and mix it with a small amount of the paint in a small dixie cup. Let the paint flow onto the clamp, just push it with a small model brush. They will come out great. Courtesy of Jim Brand-master painter on Long Island, NY.

My local Ace hardware sells spray cans of Ford Tractor Blue. Not sure if this is a match to what you want, but worth a look at.
