I posted a suggestion to the editor/administrator of ford barn regarding affordable merchandise. I said it would be cool to have t-shirts with design ideas from members. Even have "contests" regarding which shirts would be made by voting through the site. The administrator/editor said he/she is specific about ford barn logos which I respect but what about a cool drawing of a flathead engine, or carb "explosion", or shoebox grill on the back of the shirt with the logo on the front????

It doesn't have to stop there. What about patches for your jackets, hats, key chains, etc etc etc???

Just saying I respect what they are doing here, respect the individuals who post their knowledge, and down right enjoy coming to this site on a daily basis. Why not wear it on my sleeve...???

Put in your two cents and hope we can pull together to help the barn out to make them some money and support the hobby. Thanks
 
Good idea

I was looking into getting t-shirts printed with me and my Dad's avatars on the front for our US trip. Might still do it. I'm terrible at remembering names, and where I know people's faces from, but can spot a tag from 1000 yards.

There's a business opportunity there for someone if not FB. Help yourselves.

Logos? We are too old and mature to wear T-shirts with anything other than fruit of the loom or haynes on them!!!:D
 
Sounds like a great idea to me. I know HAMBwear is popular, and I'm sure that Ford Barners would like to let others know what website they visit. I check in at least once a day, along with my HAMB visits, I can't look at either site and not offer a "Thank You" to Ryan for letting us all have a good time and exchange knowledge. So many great people on both sites that you hope to meet in person some day.
 
I vote for black T-shirts :cool:

Seems everytime a club gets together with this idea they end up with 1 choice...stark white
...that or some bright cheezy colour which screams "hey look at me I have friends now" :p

Black you can wear anywere, anyday...hell everyday!
Besides, I think the Fordbarn logo would look Awesome on black.

I agree! My problem is, if I walk through the shop wearing anything but black or dark blue I end up needing to change shirts. Seems I am a grease magnet.

Not if they're FREE! I never quite got why people would buy shirts with Coke or some other commercial advertising on them. You want me to wear your logo, pay me money or give me the shirt.

So Lowe's pays Jimmie Johnson millions to have their name on his car, then you pay Jimmie $15 bucks to wear a shirt with his Lowe's car on it? Jimmie's a lot smarter (and richer) than you are.
