Ford Barn Members, I had no idea!

I've never really searched the membership list before, but wow! Almost 2000 pages of members! And I counted one page at 30, I'm sure it varies due to avatars, but even at 20 a page that's almost 40,000 members!
I would have never known that by the daily conversations.
I stay mainly in the early v8, but read the model A section as well.

And... It's just like everything else; less than 5% of the members do 99% of the contributing. It's still the best site for this sort of thing!

That's twice as much as I guessed !
I guess it's kinda like our local car club, we have over 200 members, but around 30 show up to the meetings.

yup! you can have 10 members in a club and only 3 show up to things

How many of those members were spammers that got banned?
Not meaning to burst any bubbles here but...
I'm an Admin on another well traveled forum and easily half of our membership database are banned spammers.

Interesting point. I also belong to an RV forum and once, just for kicks, I started briefly scanning the member list. The vast majority of members had 0 or 1 total posts and hadn't visited the forum in several years. A quick look at a couple pages of this forum's member list reveals something similar, although I would say the majority are in the 0-10 post territory.

Somewhere I read that over 25% of the Model As that were built are still registered as road vehicles.

Suspect that the 30's cars have a similar record.

Awesome!

Can another manufacturer match that record?

More statistics...

61% of those 64000 Barn members are pushing up daisies.

67% of people our age could count on one hand the number of survivors from their graduation class.

73% of people our age can't count the fingers of one hand!
