Ford Barn Appreciation

I just wanted to tell everyone that will take the time to read this how much of a good thing this forum is for a somewhat newbie like me and how much I appreciate everyones knowledge and willing to help. When I first told my grandfather I would take the tudor off his hands I thought I was going at it blind. Had no clue what to do and was honestly nervous to even touch the thing. I found the FB and it has help me tremendously over the course of my attempt to make my grandfathers tudor road worthy again. I have met great people that I have learned a wealth of information from both on this forum and in my local Model A community (which i was clueless about until I found this forum). It just fascinates me to see a group of people like this. I am glad that I have taken on this project and joined the whole Model A community. I enjoy it and turn to the Ford Barn whenever I have a question that I know that one of yall will answer. I hope one day I will be able to answer questions and help people with their old fords too. Sorry if this thread comes off as cheesy to anybody but I would be completely lost without the Ford Barn community and wanted to let everyone know i appreciate their input. Thanks again everyone!!

I fully concur, and have found extremely helpful the ability and willingness of readers to post photos of various car parts and assembled cars. There is no substitute for a picture sometimes. I'm amazed at how many posts certain experts here input nearly every day! I'd say "go get a hobby," but then again ....

I feel the same way and just hope all of you who so willingly share your knowledge realize how grateful people like me (inexperienced) are.

I also have gained much from the Barn. I had worked with a Model A in the 1950's but at that time I also did not know what I was doing. So when I started to rebuild my huckster in 2009, I sure have appreciated the professional help I received from the Barn.

Now that I have the "bug" and picked up another A, a 1929 std coupe a few months ago, I have another learning curve to overcome. So far I have learned much about the 29 coupe that I needed to know. Thanks to all of you for answering all of my basic questions.
