The first Falcon sold in Australia was the XK series, which was introduced in September 1960. It was initially offered only as a four-door sedan, in both Falcon and Falcon Deluxe trim levels.
This pair are early production models, as they got the USA Front Bumper with the narrow opening for the Licence Plate.
Shortly after release, Ford Australia modified the Front Bumper to allow linger Australian Licence Plates to be installed without the Spacer seen on these two cars.
Also notice the optional Falcon Bird Hood Ornament that I believe is an Accessory that is unique to Australia?
Both of these Falcons are Deluxe models, as they have the Chrome Trim on the side that was unique to Australian Falcons, as well as Chrome Window Surrounds.
The Standard models had painted Window Surrounds.
