Will an earlier 302 ford carb.intake manifold bolt onto and replace a throttle body injection intake on a later 302 engine ? I found this donor pickup that has fuel injection, but want to switch it over to carb.

Don't take this as gospel, just a WAG. But 3 or 4 years back someone was offering on that "E" site the instructions to do the opposite - Carb to fuel injection. Instruction only, but a list of the parts that you had to go the wrecking yard and get. So, kinda sounds like maybe should work.

yes, a standard carb manifold will replace the injection unit. Keep in mind that you will have to replace the distributor with one that doesn't fire with the computer. I used a points distributor with a Pertronix unit. Works well.

If the engine has a steel cam make sure you use a compatible distributor gear. I used a steel gear, but I understand that a brass gear will work, too.
