Ford 40 coupe ( is marked as CLUB COUPE ) in the mexican Vin plate...i feel is a DE LUXE coupe
full project car,NOT running currently
modified in many ways... good solid firewall
the front is modified in and looks like a 38 grill has been weled in..also shaved hood
rear trunk shaved handle
later flattie engine 49 and up mounted,NOT currently running..car is in storage for many years,need to be gone thru
wrong modern seats
grill is wrong for this one,looks a 38 grill
older wire rims mounted
correct steering wheel and dash on ..speaker grill IS included,not pictured
but still an interesting de luxe 40 Coupe project
it has some bondo on lower panels and needs work..
shaved rear trunk handle,have'nt seen any locking latch in the trunk
also i notice wrong headlights
trunk is clean,no hinge in the trunk to lock the door
solid clean untouched firewall
has mexican papers,good to be exported worldwide

Are you sure it's a 40? It definately has 40 parts but the wipers should be below the windshield and the trunk (decklid) supports are incorrect.
Looks good though, just my $0.02

there is alot of wierd going on with that car but i think it is a 40, yes i noticed the wiper BUT it has the vent windows in the doors, and look close at the deck lid itself it has the X brace on the inner structure which make the deck lid a 40, then the typical stuff, 40 tail lights, dash wheel ect. looks like a car that was built from alot of left over parts from other cars/ i think its more a standard then a deluxe by the dash and the hood

Guys,i was checkin carefully the car yesterday and after a close inspection looks like the wipers are located at the BOTTOM of the winshield...they have been filled and i can slightly see the small cracks in the paint,so i assume its a STANDARD coupe

The wiper on top is an aftermarket unit,electrically activated from inside so its NOT original for sure.

In any case the VIN numbers are : 18-5635796

So probably the experts can tell exactly what it is..

in the papers is stated its a CLUB COUPE.

My conclusion is its a STANDARD coupe

i did take many more detailed pics and will post em asap

Underneath is very solid ,pics will show it

Actully car IS running at this point,had my mechanic started very easily and currently checkin brakes,fuel tank and lines and so on,to make it fully driveable...engine sounds good.
