First picture is a NZ assembled one. RHD with wiper on the right. NZ number plate of the day, the first character "L" designates it a light commercial for registration purposes. There is something vaguely familiar about where this is taken, possibly Oriental Parade in Wellington.

On the door it has "The Texas Company Aust Asia Ltd" definitely NZ as Aussie does not use the Ltd designation.

The body looks to be coach built, very roughly. The lumpy roof, misaligned drip rail and body swages are a give away.

Yep seen a Jailbar with NZ built body some of them were pretty rough, Colonial bodies coachbuilders I think. ******* with Ford NZ's old Colonial Motor company.
