This is a remarkably well-preserved, unmolested Texas survivor and mostly original as found. If you want to own a piece of Model A history that's over the top with charming patina, this is the car for you. I get lots of thumbs-up and this car always draws a crowd at car shows or on driving tours, mostly because of its original condition. Car is very reliable, runs great and can be driven anywhere. Lots of fun to drive - starts easily, stops good, steers good, shifts good, all lights work properly. It has never overheated, even on long drives in hot Texas weather. I installed a temp gauge to verify the coolant temperature. Has the usual surface rust you would expect and only very minor rust-thru in 2 small places - body and floors are very sound. Has been converted to 12 volt with halogen headlights, electric windshield wiper, and turn signals. I purchased the car from a member of the family of the original owner and have a few original service records from back in the '50's along with other interesting provenance. The engine in the car is not the original, but the original engine goes with the car if wanted, but needs to be rebuilt. Located 30 minutes south of Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
