I picked this project up about 3 months ago, cleaned her up and replaced most of the chrome. Now after having it in the Keels & Wheels show in Seabrook TX just a few weeks ago, many true antique collectors/judges were not pleased with the color.
Keep it yellow and just enjoy it or find out what it should have been if I want to keep it in shows and try for trophies?
Also the carb is not original, looks like a forklift carb from a who knows what and as well the previous owner bumped up the volts to 12 with an aftermarket alt.
